Standard Compliance

Our software is designed in strict adherence to the SEMI T7-0302 standard, which governs the specific location and dimensions of Data Matrix code symbols on silicon wafers. This specification is approved by the Global Traceability Committee and the North American Traceability Committee.

Note: Symbols must be applied via laser scribing for compliance.

Encoding & Data Structure

To generate a valid symbol, input the following:

1 Wafer ID: 8-character vendor-assigned ID.
2 Vendor ID: 2-character ID from Encoder.

Automation: Two SEMI M13 check characters are automatically appended to your data.
